It's impossible to talk about any civil rights movement without mentioning his name. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a Baptist minister from Atlanta, Georgia, became one of the most important symbols of the fight to end racial discrimination in the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s and became the youngest person ever to be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize. His words and his ideas are still as alive today as they were 40 years ago, when he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee.How much do you know about Dr. King's life and work?
