Song: Put Your Records On (Corinne B.Rae)

To listen to the song, click here:

Three little birds, sat on my window
And they told me I don't need to worry
Summer came like cinnamon so sweet,
Little girls double-dutch on the concrete
Maybe sometimes, we've got it wrong, but it's alright
The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same
Oh, don't you hesitate

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song
You go ahead, let your hair down
Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams
Just go ahead, let your hair down
You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow

Blue as the sky, sunburnt and lonely
Sipping tea in the bar by the roadside
(just relax, just relax)
Don't you let those other boys fool you
Got to love that afro hairdo
Maybe sometimes, we feel afraid, but it's alright
The more you stay the same, the more they seem to change
Don't you think it's strange?

'Twas more than I could take, pity for pity's sake
Some nights kept me awake
I thought that I was stronger
When you gonna realise
that you don't even have to try any longer?
Do what you want to

Hi Monica, how are you?

I cant hear the music right now. I'll try to do it at home.

It is hard to pick up one favourite song. But I can tell an album I love: Sgt. Pepper's - The Beatles.

Cheers, Ronaldo.

Hi Ronaldo, I'm doing great! How's life in California?
Sgt. Pepper's is one of my favourite albums too, Ronaldo. I'm planning on posting one of the songs on the blog - did you know they are celebrating its 40th anniversary this year?

Hello, Mônica!
It´s really hard to pick up one song. I have many favourite songs, each one for a different phase of my life. "One",by U2, is very meaningful, and "Every little thing she does is magic" is also a song that reminds me very good moments! And how old is this song, my Godness...
Cheers, Vanessa.

Oh, oh... I think I should have said: how old are "these songs"! "One" is almost as old as "Every little thing..."! :-)

'One' is among my favourite U2 songs too, Vanessa! I guess good songs never really get old, do they? :)
Cheers
